BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Andaman Sea still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 5th April, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan (South and East), Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine , Kayah States and isolated in the Remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 - 9)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States.
