BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (05:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Andaman Sea still persists.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 4th April, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Chin State. Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin States and isolated in the Remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEASqualls with moderate to rough seas are likely attimes in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7-9) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon –Taninthayi Coasts and about (5-7)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and scatteredrain or thundershowers in Shan, Kayah States.
