SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been isolatedin Ayeyarwady Region. Weather has been partly cloudy to cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) above March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, (3°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayah, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Chauk and (41°C) each in Magway, Aunglan, Gangaw, Ann and Hpasaung. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Ngathaichaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the Remaining regions and States.
