SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Eastern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) below March average temperature in Eastern Shan State and (6°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State, (3°C) to (4°C)above March average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and ChinState, (2°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) in Chauk, (42°C) in Hpasaung, (41°C) in Magway and (40°C) each in Tamu, Shwebo, Monywa, Myinmu, Myingyan, Nyaung Oo, Lunkyaw, Tada U(Avai), Minbu, Aunglan, Gangaw, Pauk, Sinbyugyun, Ann and Myawaddy.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cluody over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining regions and states.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
