SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Mon States and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C) each in Chauk and Hpasaung, (42°C) each in Sinbyugyun and Taunggu and (41°C) each in Hlaingtat, Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), Pyinmana, Magway and Aunglan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.51)inch in Paung, (0.43)inch in Kawkareik, (0.16)inch in Launglon, (0.08)inch in Hpa-an and (0.04)inch in Minesat.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan (South and East), Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%).  Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining regions and states.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
