SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Bago Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Mon States and (5°C) above March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Magway and Myawaddy. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.43) inch in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
