SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Magway Region and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Minbu, Magway, Sinbyugyun, Gyobingauk and Hpa-an. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.47) inch in Monyin, (0.20) inch in Muse and (0.04) inch each in Bhamo and Hkamti.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
