SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (3°C) above March average temperature in Magway Region and (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (41°C) in Chauk and (40°C) each in Nyaung Oo, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Tharrawady and Theinzayet. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.12)inch each in Myitkyina and Machanbaw and (0.08)inch in Putao.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is ‌a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
