SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (2°C) above March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin States and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (40°C) in Chauk and (39°C) each in Magway, Aunglan and Pyay. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.28) inch each in Myeik and Launglon.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 05th March, 2021: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
