SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Yangon Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, Eastern Shan, Kayah States and (3°C) to (4°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago,  Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (6°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Heho and Mongyang, (8°C) in Loilin and (9°C) each in Pinlaung and Ramthlo.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th February, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
