SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Northern Shan and Kayah States and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago and Yangon Regions. Weather has been generally fair in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, (2°C) above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Eastern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and (3°C) above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and above February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States.. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Lashio, Heho and Mongyang and (8°C) each in Kyaukmae, Pinlaung, Loilin, Mindat and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was (0.04) inch in Loikaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd February, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
