SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below February average temperatures in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, Kayah States and (2°C) below February average temperature in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayin States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) in Heho, (4°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung, Loilin and Mongyang and (6°C) each in Tiddim, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th February, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan, Chin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States.
