SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State and (3°C) below February average temperature in Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Ramthlo, (4°C) each in Putao, Namsam and Mongyang and (4°C) each in Kyaukmae and Mindat.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th February, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
