SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Mon States and fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Chin States, (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan (North & South), Kayah States, (5°C) below February average temperature in Rakhine State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (2°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin, Hakha and Pyinoolwin, (3°C) each in Mongyang and Mogoke and (4°C) each in Putao, Lashio and Kyaukmae.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Bay, a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th February, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States.
