SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below February average temperatures in Yangon Region and Kachin, Southern Shan States and (3°C) to (4°C) below February average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-3°C) in Hakha, (2°C) in Namsam, (3°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin and Ramthlo and (4°C) each in Putao, Lashio, Pinlaung, Heho, Mongyang, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North and Central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd February, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
