SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kayin, Mon States and  (3°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Ayeyarwady Region and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) each in Putao, Mongyang and Mindat and (6°C) each in Machanbaw, Kyaukmae, Namsam, Pinlaung, Loilin, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 29th January, 2021: Light rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

 STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States.
