SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States and (2°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw, Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in  Pinlaung and Heho, (4°C) each in Namsam, Mongyang and Ramthlo, (5°C) each in Loilin, Mindat, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th January, 2021: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

 STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
