SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperatures in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (2°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Namsam and Heho, (4°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Mindat and (5°C) each in Tiddim, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th January, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

 STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
