SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) above January average temperature in Naypyitaw and (3°C) above January average temperature in (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (1°C) in Hakha, (3°C) each in Heho and Mindat, (4°C) in Pinlaung, (5°C) each in Loilin and Pyinoolwin and (6°C) each in Namsam, Tiddim, Ramthlo and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North and East central Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th January, 2021: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan, Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair in the whole country.
