SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Kachin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (4°C) below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and (2°C) above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Mon States and  (3°C) above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Mindat, Tiddim and Ramthlo, (5°C) in Heho and (6°C) each in Pinlaung, Tongzan and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.39) inch in Hkamti, (0.23) inch in Putao, (0.16) inch each in Machanbaw and Nanyun, (0.08) inch in Myitkyina and (0.04)inch in Mogaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd January, 2021: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

 STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Generally fair weather in the whole country.
