SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Mon State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above January average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin States and (3°C) to (4°C)above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan, Chin, Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) in Mongyang, (5°C) each in Heho and Hakha, (6°C) each in Kyaukmae, Namsam and Mogoke and (7°C) each in Pinlaung and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 07^th January, 2021: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
