SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Mon States and generally  fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Eastern Shan State, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Yangon Region and Chin, Kayah States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) each in Namsam, Pinlaung and Heho, (5°C) each in Putao, Loilin, Mindat and Ramthlo and (6°C) each in Tiddim and Pyinoolwin.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24^th December, 2020:  Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Taninthayi Region and  Kayin, Mon States.
