SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Light rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region and Northern Shan State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Kayin States and (3°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kayah and Mon States and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Machanbaw, Heho, Mindat, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin and (8°C) each in Putao, Kyaukmae, Pinlaung and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.04) inch in Muse.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th December, 2020:  Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT: Generally fair in the whole country.
