SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperatures in Eastern Shan and Kayah States, (2°C) below December average temperatures in Bago and Yangon Regions, (2°C) above December average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (4°C) each in Pinlaung and Heho, (6°C) in Namsam and (7°C) each in Loilin, Mongyang, Mindat and Tongzan. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.20) inch in Kawthaung and (0.08) inch in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th December, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
