SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in Yangon Region and (2°C) below December average temperatures in Eastern Shan, Kayah and Kayin States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) in Pinlaung, (6°C) each in Mindat, Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Loilin, Ramthlo and Mogoke.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Andaman sea and North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th December, 2020: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Shan State.
