SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Shan(South and East) States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in Chin State and (2°C) below December average temperatures in Taninthayi Region and Shan(North and South), Rakhine and Kayah States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-01°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) each in Pinlaung and Mindat, (6°C) each in Namsam, Tiddim, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Kyaukmae, Loilin and Matupi.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 09th December, 2020: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Shan, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.
