SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) above December average temperatures in Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayin State, (3°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Mon State and about December average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Namsam and Ramthlo and (7°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.94) inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm (Burevi) over Sri Lanka has reached Gulf of Manner and it is centered at about (15) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Pamban and about (135) Nautical miles Northeast of Kanyakumari (India). Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 04th December, 2020: Rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-5) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States.
