SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Eastern Shan State and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin States, (4°C) above November average temperature in Mon State and about November average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Namsam, Heho and Mindat and (8°C) each in Putao, Tongzan and Ramthlo.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Southwest Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved Westwards and has intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about (290) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee (Sri Lanka) and about (505) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Kanyakumari (India). Weather is cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd December, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady  Regions and Kachin, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-5) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States.
