SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below November average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (7°C) in Mindat, (8°C) each in Putao, Namsam, Heho and Ramthlo and (9°C) each in Pinlaung, Loilin and Tongzan.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (11:30) hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression and it is centered at about (410) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee (Sri Lanka) and about (620) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Kanyakumari (India). Weather is cloudy over the South Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st December, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Strong easterly winds with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in strong easterly winds may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3-5) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Kayah States.
