SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kayin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Northern Shan State and (2°C) below November average temperature in Chin State, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Mon State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (0°C) in Hakha, (7°C) each in Mongyang and Mogoke, (8°C) each in Heho, Mindat, Ramthlo and Pyinoolwin and (9°C) each in Putao and Kyaukmae.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (10:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) which has crossed near Puducherry coast, India has moved Northwest wards and weakened into a Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR). It is forecast to move Northwest wards and weaken gradually. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th November, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine and Mon States.
