BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:00)hrs M.S.T today, the Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR). It is centered at about (80) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Cuddalore, about (80) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (120) Nautical miles South-Southeast of Chennai (India).Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 26th November, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Kayah and Kayin States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarway, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
