SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Kayin and Mon States. Weather has been generally fair in Shan (North and South) and Kayah States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Shan (North and East) and Chin States, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Southern Shan and Kayah States and (2°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin State and (3°C) above November average temperatures in Mon State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (-1°C) in Hakha, (5°C) in Heho, (7°C) each in Mongyang and Ramthlo and (8°C) each in Putao, Namsam, Pinlaung, Mindat, Tiddim and Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.34)inches in Hlaingbwe, (0.39)inch in Kyeikkhame, (0.24)inch in Launglon and (0.16) inch in Myeik.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm (NIVAR) over the Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about (200) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (220) Nautical miles Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India).Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25^th November, 2020: Light rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan (South and East), Chin, Kayah and Kayin States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
