SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Chin, Rakhine States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below November average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Southern Shan, Chin and Kayah States and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Northern Shan State, (3°C) above November average temperatures in Kayin and Mon States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (2°C) in Hakha, (4°C) in Heho, (5°C) in Pinlaung, (6°C) each in Mongyang and Ramthlo, (7°C) in Namsam and (8°C) each in Loilin, Nyaung Shwe, Kengtung, Mindat, Tiddim and  Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.55)inch in Kyeikmayaw, (0.44)inch in Myeik, (0.28)inch in Machanbaw, (0.24)inch in Nanyun and (0.16)inch in Putao.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal has centered at about (300) Nautical miles East-Southeast of Puducherry and about (315) Nautical miles Southeast of Chenn‌ai (India). Weather is partly cloud over the Andaman sea and North Bay and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th November, 2020: Light Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing , Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago Region and Eastern Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayah States.
