SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain has been scattered in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan, Chin, Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (5°C) below November average temperature in Kayah State, (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Eastern)Shan State, (2°C) below November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Hakha, (6°C) each in Pinlaung and Heho, (7°C) each in Namsam, Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin, (8°C) each in Mindat, Mogoke and Mongyang and (9°C) each in Loilin and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was (0.20) inch in Kawthaung.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area has formed over near the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Bay of Bengal. It may further intensify into a depression during next (48) hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Bago and Yangon Regions and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of light rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
