SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below November average temperature in Kayah State and (2°C) below November average temperatures in Taninthayi  Region and Kachin, Eastern Shan States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) in Hakha, (9°C) in Namsam and (10°C)each in Putao, Loilin, Mindat and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.02) inches in Okpho, (0.94) inch in Gyobingauk, (0.86) inch in Phyu, (0.75) inch in Ngathaichaung and (0.63) inch in Zalun.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest and Westcentral Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURE:  According to the observations at (13:30)MST today, the tropical storm “Etau” has crossed near the Nha Trang, Vietnam and moving to West-Northwestwards. It is expected to downgrade to the tropical depression over the Vietnam.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (60%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
