BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, yesterday’s low pressure area over Northeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal now lies over North Bay and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the North and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 02nd November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Norhern Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35) m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (3-6) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions.
