SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Eastern Shan and Kayin States, fairy widespread in Taninthayi Region and Southern Shan, Rakhine, Mon States and widespread in the reamaing Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions. Night temperatures were (2°C) above November average temperatures in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Eastern Shan and Mon States and (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and (Northern and Southern) Shan States and and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (11°C) in Mindat, (13°C) in Hakha and (14°C) in Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.64) inches in Paung Byin, (2.09) inches in Myinmu, (2.05) inches in Shwesayan, (1.61) inches in Pinlaebu, (1.30) inches in Myint Nge, (1.26) inches each in Mandalay and Launglon, (1.18) inches in Mogaung and (1.14) inches each in Shwebo and Ye.

BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal(off Myanmar coast) now lies over Northeast Bay and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move towards Bangladesh coast during next (36)hrs. Weather is partly cloudy over the North and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd November, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Shan, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States,  fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Rakhine coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (3-6) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions.
