SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairy widespread in Rakhine and Kayin States and widespread in the reaming Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Ayeyarwady Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.19) inches in Phyarpon, (2.95) inches in Labutta, (2.68) inches in Myeik, (2.28) inches in Gwa, (2.20) inches in Taungkok, (1.69) inches in Thandwe, (1.54) inches in Maubin and (1.14) inches in Payathonsu.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago Region, Kayah and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, off and along Rakhine coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-9) feet Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (5-8) feet Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
