SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Eastern Shan and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Taninthayi Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayin States and fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Chin and Mon States with isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.05) inches in Mahlaing (Agro), (2.01) inches in Kyeikkhame, (1.46) inches in Mudon, (1.26) inches in Yamethin, (1.18) inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), (1.06) inches in Pyinmana, (0.87) inch in Hmawbi(Agro-Met) and (0.83) inch in Chaungsone.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and  partly cloudy  over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing and  Magway Regions, Kachin and Shan(North and East) States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
