BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate rough seas are likely attime off and along Rakhine coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Rakhine Coasts and about (5-7)feet Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of scattered rain or  thundershowers in Central Myanmar areas.
