BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and East central Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENIONG OF THE 18th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kachin and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Southern Shan, Chin, Kayah States, fairly widespread in  Bago Region and Kayin and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Southern Myanmar areas.
