BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha coast(India) still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay of Bengal. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, scattered in Mandalay Region and Eastern Shan, Chin States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and  Southern Shan, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from the Deltaic areas.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 6th October, 2020: Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).
