SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region and Eastern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (4.02) inches in Labutta, (3.54) inches in Thabeikkyin, (2.96) inches in Nyaunglaybin, (2.92) inches in Shwekyin, (2.80) inches each in Madauk and Yangon(Kaba-Aye), (2.40) inches in Hainggyigyun, (1.97) inches in Naungcho, (1.95) inches in Singu(Agro), (1.89) inches each in Taungkok and Patheingyi(Agro), (1.69) inches in Belin, (1.66) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi and (1.61) inches in Kawkareik.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha coast(India) still persists. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th October, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Rakhine,  Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in Deltaic areas.
