SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay and Bago Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (2.52) inches in Gwa, (1.97) inches in Kawlin, (1.93) inches in Hkamti, (1.85) inches in Naungcho, (1.73) inches in Mogoke, (1.50) inches in Myauk U, (1.42) inches in Tongzan, (1.28) inches in Kyeikdon, (1.26) inches in Mongyang, (1.24) inches in Saw, (1.22) inches in Hmawbi(Agro-Met) and (1.18) inches in Ann.
BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area which is crossing Andhra Pradesh coast(India) is forecast to continue moving West-Northwest wards and weaken gradually. Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of thundery activities in the Northern Myanmar areas.
