SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region. Rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Mandalay and Magway Regions, Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region and Eastern Shan, Kayah and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and isolated heavy falls in Magway Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.31) inches in Wuntho, (5.08) inches in Kawlin, (3.15) inches in Hkamti, (2.44) inches in Shwegwun, (1.77) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (1.73) inches in Hlaingbwe, (1.65) inches in Katha, (1.62) inches in Pathein, (1.61) inches each in Paletwa and Htilin, (1.57) inches in Kamamaung, (1.38) inches each in Taunggyi and Kawkareik, (1.26) inches in Shwegu and (1.18) inches each in Muse and Kayukpyu.

 BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andhra Pradesh coast(India) still persists. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and  Bago Regions, Chin, Kayah and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
