SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.18) inches in Myitkyina, (2.95) inches in Loilin, (2.36) inches in Hkamti, (2.08) inches in Katha, (1.65) inches in Mogaung, (1.62) inches in Loikaw, (1.25) inches each in Coco-Island and Hlaingbwe, (1.22) inches each in Kengtung and Belin, (1.18) inches each in Okkan and Phaung Pyin, (1.16) inches in Kyeikdon and (1.06) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, Scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Yangon,  Ayeyarwady Regions and (Northern and Southern)Shan, Chin, Kayin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Thundery activities in the Northern Myanmar areas.
