 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 09th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Chin State, fairly widespread in Kachin, Northern Shan, Rakhine and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavy falls in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions and Eastern Shan State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon over the Andaman Sea and South Bay.
