SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Upper Sagaing, Magway Regions and Chin State, scattered in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (5.16) inches in Belin, (5.04) inches in Kamamaung, (2.17) inches in Shan-Ywar-Thit, (1.85) inches in Myitkyina, (1.65) inches in Kyeikmayaw, (1.54) inches in Mogaung, (1.46) inches in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (1.42) inches each in Kyauktaw and Kyeikkhame, (1.22) inches in Pyay and (1.18) inches each in Kani and Mudon.

 BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 08th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
