SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady Region, Shan (North and East) and Kayah States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing, Magway and Yangon Regions and Rakhine State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Bago Regions, Chin and Kayin States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Kayin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (3.27) inches in Hpa-an(Agro-Met), (2.20) inches in Hkamti, (2.05) inches in Thaton, (1.46) inches in Belin, (1.45) inches in Pyinoolwin, (1.42) inches in Pinlaebu, (1.30) inches in Namsam, (1.06) inches in Hlaingbwe, (0.94) inch in Machanbaw,  (0.68) inch in Kya-In-Seikkyi, (0.63) inch in Paletwa, (0.55) inch in Hakha and (0.52) inch in Sagaing.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 06th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region, Shan (North and East) and Kayah States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin and Rakhine States and fairly widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
