BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st August, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Tanithayi Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in Magway Region with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Mandalay Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak monsoon.
